I started out as a Mom of a player in 2007 and loved what the Miracle League was all about. I wanted to be more involved so I stepped up to coach one of the teams. You can’t help but smile whenever you are on the field with all of the players.

In 2018, my husband, Mike, introduced me to the Grand Strand Miracle League. I immediately fell in love. I have cherished every minute I’ve been able to spend with the players. Most of all, I love seeing their faces so full of joy on the field. I am thankful to have the privilege to be a coach of such beautiful souls and I look forward to continuing for many years to come.

Coach Kiera Poole
I started volunteering for Miracle League with my mother and brother in 2007. I started out as a buddy alongside my brother, then eventually became a buddy for other players. My involvement with the players motivated me to volunteer as a coach and be more involved. Seeing their smiling faces having a great time on the field brings joy into my life. I couldn’t ask for a better place to volunteer than the GS Miracle Leagues.

I have had the opportunity to help raise a “stepson” with very high functioning Asperger’s autism a few years ago. I am so very blessed to have had those special experiences in my life. I look forward to helping the GS Miracle League as a coach.
Coach George Cundiff
In my youth, I was a Boy Scout outside Philadelphia PA. As a scout, I was taught to be helpful. As a retired tractor trailer driver, my company did a lot of charity work for Make-a-Wish, Ronald McDonald House, and the McDonalds LPGA in Wilmington DE. I believe good comes to those who give back and Miracle League does lots of good for the community. I enjoyed being able to help last year and look forward to every game!

As the Current President of Myrtle Beach Lions Club, I stay busy giving back to the community and enjoying family. I have been married to my wife Deborah for 50 years and have 3 children and 9 grandchildren.

I started to help my father coach his Miracle League team and immediately became aware of how much these special players inspire all those with whom they come in contact … including myself. They teach us every day of what is important in life. I am so thankful to be part of such a wonderful organization.
